We’re a small crew, and that’s on purpose. Every technician who shows up at your gate in Long Beach has been background-checked, identity-verified, and photo-badged under the Threshold Standard. No subcontractors, no strangers, no one who hasn’t earned the badge. We work on gates all over Long Beach, from Naples to Bixby Knolls to the Port, and we’ve been doing it since 2008. The people below are the ones you’ll actually talk to, text with, and see at your property. Cole Rafferty runs the shop. The rest of us keep it honest.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Cole Rafferty, Owner & Lead Technician
Cole founded this Long Beach location in 2008, and he’s still the first one under a gate panel when a motor won’t start. He’s factory-trained on LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule systems, and he’s the one who signs off on the 365-Day Done Right Promise for every job we book. If a repair isn’t right, he’s the guy who shows up on the free return visit. Cole is the reason our price quote comes in writing before any work starts – he got tired of watching other companies hand people a surprise invoice at the end. On weekends he’s usually working on a 1968 Ford pickup that, in his words, “runs exactly as well as it needs to.”
Marcus T., Senior Installer
Marcus has been with Warden Gate Repair Long Beach for eleven years, and he’s installed or rebuilt more than 400 gates across Long Beach, Signal Hill, and Lakewood. His specialty is heavy slide gates – the kind that weigh half a ton and eat cheap rollers for breakfast. He’s certified on Viking and DoorKing operators, and he’s the one we send when a gate post has shifted and the whole track needs to be re-leveled. Marcus keeps a notebook in his truck with torque specs for every operator brand we service, and he’ll tell you a gate is worn out before he’ll sell you a replacement part you don’t need. He’s also the only guy on the crew who can back a trailer down a Naples alley in one shot.
Rosa Delgado, Service Coordinator
Rosa is the voice on the phone when you call Warden Gate Repair Long Beach at (562) 512-6788. She’s been answering our lines for six years, and she knows enough about gate systems to triage a call before a technician ever rolls out. Rosa handles scheduling, quotes, and the technician photo-and-name notification we send before every visit. She’s the reason our 24/7 live-phone coverage actually works on a holiday weekend. Before Warden, Rosa worked in logistics at the Port of Long Beach, so she understands what “the gate is stuck and the truck can’t get in” means for a business. She has a rescue dog named Compressor who occasionally makes a cameo on the office speakerphone.
Danielle K., Apprentice Technician
Danielle is two years into her apprenticeship with Warden Gate Repair Long Beach, working alongside Cole and Marcus on swing gates, slide gates, and electric openers. She came to us from a welding program at Long Beach City College, and she handles most of our gate hinge and weld-repair work under supervision. She’s currently training for her Ghost Controls and Mighty Mule factory certifications. Danielle is methodical about safety sensors and edge detection – she’s the first to catch a photo-eye that’s drifted out of alignment. She grew up in Long Beach, rides a bicycle to the shop most mornings, and honestly believes the best part of the job is watching a gate that was dead for a week finally glide open.
One Standard, Every Job
We’re an independently owned and operated location within the Threshold Group family, and the Threshold Standard applies to every single visit we make in Long Beach. That means the technician’s name and photo are sent to you before arrival. It means a photo ID badge is shown at the door. It means the written price is in your hand before any work begins, with no surprise line items at the end. And it means every repair carries our 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing: if the fix fails within a year, the return visit is free. Cole enforces this on every job because it’s the only way he’d want his own gate repaired. The name Warden matters to us – a warden is trusted to watch over a place and keep it secure. That’s the whole idea behind a gate, and it’s the whole idea behind how we work.
